Electricians, welders, and HVAC technicians keep daily life functioning. Yet high schools shrink shop programs while pushing every student toward four-year degrees—often with debt and uncertain returns.
Apprenticeships combine paid work with credentials. Community colleges partner with unions and employers to fill real vacancies.
Respecting trade paths is not anti-college. It is pro-opportunity.
